Job summary

Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. (SPA) invites students to join the Summer 2027 internship in support of the Navy's Strategic Systems Programs.

The 10-week, 40-hour-per-week program runs May 2027 through July or August 2027, with possible remote work at reduced hours during the school year. Interns work under a government mentor to gain hands-on experience in program management, budgeting, and document drafting, with potential consideration for full-time employment after graduation.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
• Active enrollment in an accredited undergraduate or post-graduate program in a technical field or related disciplines.
• Must have completed at least 2 years of undergraduate experience.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill technical, programmatic, and organizational tasking set by a government mentor.
• Supports day-to-day program management by maintaining schedules and tracking actions.
• Draft, review, and edit program documentation.
• Complete a summer project.
• Attend weekly SPA informational roundtables and leadership lunches.
