Job summary

Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. (SPA) is seeking a Summer 2027 intern to support Navy SSP within the Shipboard Systems Integration Portfolio. The 10-week, 40-hour program runs May–July/August 2027, with potential remote work part-time during the school year and full-time onsite in Washington Navy Yard.

Interns work under SPA management and a government mentor, performing administrative, organizational, and program-management tasks related to the FBM program, and may complete a summer project.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.
• Active enrollment in an accredited undergraduate or post-graduate program in a technical field (Engineering, Systems, Analytics), or in Business, Finance, Management, or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Support Navy SSP in the Shipboard Systems Integration Portfolio under a government mentor.
• Perform administrative, organizational, and management tasks.
• Draft, review, and/edit program documentation.
• Contribute to a summer project.
• Attend SPA information roundtables and leadership briefings.
