Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Senior Principal Program Planning & Scheduling Analyst to join the Scheduling Center of Excellence in San Diego, CA. This full-time onsite role focuses on coordinating with engineering and operations to decompose scope and build the program schedule baseline.

The ideal candidate has strong teambuilding, verbal and written communication skills and experience with major scheduling tools.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree with 8 years professional related experience or Master’s with 6 years related experience.
4 years of project scheduling experience using scheduling tools.
Experience using MS Office Suite, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Willingness to travel domestically 10% of the time.
Current, active DoD Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

Coordinate with engineering and operations to decompose scope and develop schedule baselines.
Develop an integrated program measurement baseline to manage cost, schedule and technical performance.
Use scheduling software to plan and gauge progress against the plan.
Identify variances and focus on critical areas with leads to implement actions.
Develop risk mitigation strategies to address performance issues.
Perform schedule risk analyses and resolve risky schedules and network logic conflicts.
