Job summary

Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory (APL) seeks a Program Operations Analyst for the National Security Space Mission Area in the Space Exploration Sector. The role oversees daily operations for the Laurel, Maryland mission area, with reach back to El Segundo, CA, supporting TPS, reviews, and logistics in a classified environment.

You will collaborate with program managers and sponsors, develop SOPs, manage schedules, and assist with financial management and proposal development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a business administration, organizational leadership, technical, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Five (5) years of work-related experience, or eight (8) years of direct relevant work-related experience in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.
• Ability to obtain a TS/SCI and special access program clearances. U.S. citizenship required.
• Willing and able to work onsite in classified facilities and travel occasionally to sponsor sites.

Responsibilities

• Directly report to the Program Area Manager and coordinate with Program/Project Managers to set priorities and address issues.
• Prepare and organize information for internal and external program reviews, including content review of technical materials.
• Plan, organize, and facilitate meetings and conferences for internal and external participants and sponsors; manage scheduling and logistics.
• Collaborate with security, finance, contracts, IT, and other teams to ensure successful execution of tasks.
• Monitor financial status and assess deviations; support proposal development and 30-day kickoff reviews.
• Develop status reports, briefings, schedules, and summaries with PMs, PjMs, and Chief Engineers.
• Maintain security policies and data management for classified information and facilities.
