Job summary

Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory (APL) is seeking a Program Operations Specialist to support the Force Projection Sector's portfolio. You will partner with program leadership, technical staff and sponsors to ensure projects are executed efficiently and requirements are met.

The role involves developing SOPs, coordinating with security, IT and administrative services, and facilitating program reviews and sponsor engagements. Some travel and a Top Secret/SCI clearance may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 3+ years coordinating project operations.
• Ability to review technical information and provide high-level briefings.
• Strong communication with all levels of management, military and government officials.
• Willingness to travel occasionally and eligibility for security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate program operations with PMs and PJMs to ensure timely delivery of contractual obligations.
• Develop and maintain SOPs that promote efficiency and consistency in project execution.
• Monitor compliance and coordinate with security, IT, and other support organizations.
• Prepare information for internal/external program reviews and sponsor engagements.
