Job summary

Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory (APL) seeks a Strategic Security Relationship Manager to serve as the principal security liaison and enterprise integrator for the Space Exploration Sector’s National Security Space portfolio. This role reports to the Managing Executive for Security Services and engages with senior government leaders to align security capabilities with mission needs.

Qualifications

• Ten+ years in National Security Space or DoD/IC security programs.
• Deep knowledge of NISPOM, ICDs, SAP requirements, ICD 705, JSIG, RMF.
• Proven track record building trusted government security relationships.
• Ability to influence outcomes and lead cross-organizational initiatives.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• Active Top Secret clearance with eligibility for TS/SCI; U.S. citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Manage security relationships for National Security Space across senior leaders.
• Represent SECD in executive engagements, sponsor meetings, and planning activities.
• Coordinate security capabilities across disciplines to deliver enterprise solutions.
• Translate sponsor priorities into action plans and align resources.
• Brief leadership and sponsors on strategic initiatives and risks.
• Develop measures of customer satisfaction and mission impact.
