Job summary

Anthropic is seeking a Program Manager for Safeguards Workforce Operations in San Francisco to own onboarding, offboarding, device provisioning, and access provisioning for contractor, vendor, and BPO reviewers. You will collaborate with Enforcement leads and vendor partners to translate priorities into capacity plans and ensure timely provisioning across multiple worker types.

• Experience managing vendor/BPO relationships.
• Demonstrated capacity planning experience.
• Experience with onboarding and offboarding.
• Familiar with device provisioning and access control.

Responsibilities

• Own the workforce lifecycle for contractor, vendor and BPO reviewers: onboarding, offboarding, device provisioning and access provisioning.
• Triage and execute inbound requests for new or changing vendor, BPO and contractor capacity.
• Turn ad hoc or broken processes into scalable ones, with clear owners, service levels and a system of record.
• Partner with IT and Security on access governance: least‑privilege provisioning, timely revocation and regular access reviews.
• Build and maintain capacity plans with Enforcement leads, translating review demand into workforce needs and adjusting as priorities shift.
• Work with Safeguards vendor management to hold partners accountable to capacity and onboarding commitments.
• Align practices with Human Data Operations and other teams running scaled human review, and help them streamline their own workflows.
• Help define the long‑term workforce strategy for Safeguards Enforcement.
• Have personally run onboarding, offboarding, access and device provisioning for contractor, vendor or BPO workforces — doing the work, not only overseeing it.
• Have operated scaled human review programs with vendors or BPOs, such as trust & safety, content moderation or data annotation operations.
