Job summary

Goodwill of the San Francisco Bay is seeking a Program Manager to lead the Centralized Job Center (CJC) in San Francisco, guiding a team delivering intensive career coaching, assessments, and job placement services for dislocated workers and those retraining. You’ll drive program performance, foster partnerships with community and government agencies, and report to the Director of Career Services.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of supervisory experience managing teams to deliver workforce development programs preferably with WIOA Title I eligibility requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Social Science, Business Administration or Organizational Development or equivalent preferred
• Growth mindset and passion for helping people improve
• Strong relationship builder, collaborator, and communicator with experience leading diverse teams
• Knowledge of SF Bay Area employment barriers and industry hiring trends
• Proficiency with databases and data analysis; able to manage computer operations

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, and supervise a diverse team of direct service staff at the CJC
• Train staff on best practices and Goodwill processes to improve service delivery to clients and partners
• Audit caseloads and ensure enrollment, job placement & training, and retention meet standards
• Identify opportunities for staff development and growth
• Represent the program in leadership and advisory meetings; provide recommendations and problem-solving
• Oversee grant contracts funding career services and employer engagement activities
• Develop performance objectives and measurements for evaluation and goal setting
• Engage with OEWD workforce providers and community partners to raise Goodwill’s presence
• Develop outreach strategies to promote Goodwill programming and cultivate employer relationships
• Collaborate with development teams to fundraise for continued services
• Other duties as assigned
