Magna Powertrain in Muncie, Indiana seeks a Manager of Program Management to lead a team responsible for delivering complex automotive programs on time and within budget. You will coordinate across engineering, operations, purchasing, and finance to meet customer requirements and ensure program profitability.

Required is a strong technical background in automotive systems, 8–10 years of program management, and 3–5 years of leadership experience, with advanced MS Office skills and ERP

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Program Management, or related field
• Master's Degree preferred
• Minimum 8–10 years of automotive program management experience
• Minimum 3–5 years of leadership experience
• Strong technical background in automotive systems, manufacturing, launch management
• Excellent financial acumen and experience with budgets and business cases
• Advanced proficiency with MS Office; ERP and customer systems familiarity
• Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, IATF 16949 and customer requirements

Responsabilités

• Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management to the Program Management team.
• Oversee program execution across all lifecycle phases from acquisition to end-of-life.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Purchasing, Finance and Operations.
• Monitor program health metrics and address risks related to timing, cost, and quality.
• Lead reviews and steering committees for strategic programs.
• Ensure quotations and business cases align with profitability objectives.
• Support contract reviews, change management, and commercial negotiations.
