Job summary

Magn a Powertrain in Indiana seeks a Project Engineer to support the Program Management team in planning and executing engineering projects and division-wide change initiatives. Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field required or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years in technical/engineering role in automotive manufacturing with PM experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with CAD software and manufacturing processes.
  • Knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 14001, APQP, and AIAG Core Tools.

Responsibilities

  • Support Program Management in planning and executing projects and initiatives.
  • Lead division-wide change management activities across engineering, quality, production and purchasing.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams through engineering, process and equipment changes.
  • Develop and maintain project timelines, action plans, milestones and deliverables.
  • Track progress, communicate status, risks and actions to leadership.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation, drawings, and change-related records.
