Job summary

Multimatic in Indiana is seeking a seasoned Program Manager to lead automotive programs from prototype through production start-up and customer launch. You will coordinate engineering changes, ensure specification conformance, and maintain open communication across production, QA, and engineering teams.

The role requires college-level mechanical engineering education with automotive experience; SPC/PPAP knowledge and problem-solving skills are essential for delivering cost-saving improvements.

Qualifications

• College degree in mechanical engineering and/or tool and die experience or design.
• Automotive manufacturing experience is a must.
• Familiarity with SPC, DFMEA / PFMEA, GD&T, APQP & PPAP, DOE.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of program management from prototypes to launch and production.
• Communicate with customer and internal departments; provide technical support for launches.
• Prepare quotes, track programs, and monitor schedules and cost savings proposals.
• Ensure compliance with specifications, ISO standards, and internal processes.
