Job summary

Draper is seeking a Finance Business Partner to establish budget baselines, track performance, and provide analytical support to project teams developing critical technology. The role requires strong accounting knowledge and the ability to communicate across remote locations and leadership levels.

You will partner with manufacturing and R&D leaders to ensure budgets align with strategic goals, monitor KPI performance, and support audits and deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; Master's preferred.
• 5+ years of related experience.
• Knowledge of accounting principles for fixed assets and depreciation.
• Ability to present complex financial information to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Leads the aggregation of internal budgets and reporting for internal investment projects, revenue, fee, cash flow, and other discretionary types.
• Establish initial budgets and report on budget performance using KPIs.
• Communicate financial guidance to leaders from remote locations.
• Bridge concepts into executable plans to support baseline development and progress measurement.
• Supports development of deliverables and audits as needed.
• Supports ad hoc tasks and special projects.
