Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Program Director, Power Delivery Solutions, to lead engineering and professional services for a major power delivery program. The role directs technical teams, reviews scope and schedule, drives cost efficiency, and ensures quality deliverables while collaborating with Section Managers and PMO.

This position emphasizes client value, training, and strategic program management across the DC/MD/VA/PA/NJ corridor.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering with ten (10)+ years in electric utility engineering.
• Strong understanding of electrical, civil, structural and mechanical engineering as applied to power delivery.
• Advanced understanding of electric power utility industry.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Excellent team building and coloration skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the delivery of engineering and professional services on assigned program(s).
• Engage technical teams, review progress, evaluate team effectiveness and maximize program outcomes.
• Review program scope to meet contract and technical requirements; identify ways to deliver client value.
• Evaluate schedule performance and improve adherence through oversight.
• Assess cost performance and drive cost saving measures; utilize standardization and tools.
• Ensure quality of program deliverables and refine processes accordingly.
• Evaluate team skillsets and provide targeted training.
• Collaborate with Section Managers on engineering delivery; support resource management.
• Partner with PMO to optimize program management and perform issue deep-dives.
• Develop financial forecasts of revenue and operating income; work with BD/AM on client initiatives.
• Support VP-T&S on special projects.
