Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Program Director for Power Delivery Solutions to lead the delivery of engineering and professional services on assigned programs in the Washington DC/Delaware region. Qualifications

• BS in Engineering with ten (10)+ years of experience in electric utility engineering.
• Functional understanding of principals and practices of electrical, civil, structural and mechanical engineering as applied to power delivery.
• Advanced understanding of electric power utility industry
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Excellent team building and coloration skills

Responsibilities

• Manage delivery of engineering and professional services on assigned program(s).
• Engage technical teams, review progress, evaluate team effectiveness and maximize program outcomes.
• Review program scope to meet contract and technical requirements; identify ways to deliver value to the client.
• Evaluate schedule performance and improve adherence across the program.
• Assess cost performance and drive cost-saving measures.
• Develop and refine processes to improve quality of services.
• Assess and train team members on technical skill building.
• Collaborate with Section Managers on delivery of engineering activities and resource management.
• Partner with PMO to optimize program management and issue handling.
• Develop financial forecasts of revenue and operating income; work with BD/AM on client initiatives.
• Support VP-T&S on special projects as assigned.
