Job summary

Acentra Health is seeking a Program Director to lead the NY Medicaid Provider Services Management program. You will provide strategic leadership, oversee enrollment and management, and coordinate across operations, technology, and testing to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

The role requires strong relationship management, business acumen, and cross-functional leadership, with preference for NY or neighboring states residence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare administration, IT, project management, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience managing complex healthcare, Medicaid, government, or technology programs.
• 10+ years in managerial and leadership roles.
• Experience managing the full system development life cycle, including planning, requirements, design, configuration, testing, implementation, stabilization, and operations.
• Experience managing provider enrollment, provider management, Medicaid Enterprise Systems, MMIS, or other healthcare administration programs.
• Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships, contractual obligations, deliverables, budgets, risks, issues, staffing, and performance metrics.
• Ability to travel to onsite meetings and client sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for a complex provider enrollment and management program.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities across operations, technology, project management, business analysis, testing, training, and other functions.
• Monitor performance, manage risks and issues, and drive continuous improvement.
• Prepare and present regular status reports, executive briefings, and financial updates for leadership and client stakeholders.
• Lead readiness activities including implementation planning, go-live preparation, stabilization, and transition planning.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, CMS requirements, and other regulatory obligations.
