Job summary

Acentra Health is seeking a Program Director to lead the NY Medicaid Provider Services Management program. You will provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for enrollment and management activities, coordinating across operations, technology, and business analysis to deliver high-quality services.

The role requires strong relationship management, budget oversight, risk management, and the ability to drive continuous improvement in a multi-vendor environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare administration, information technology, project management, or a related field.
• 7+ years managing complex healthcare, Medicaid, government, or technology programs.
• 10+ years in managerial and leadership roles.
• Demonstrated experience managing full SDLC (planning, requirements, design, config, testing, implementation, stabilization, operations).
• Experience managing provider enrollment, provider management, Medicaid Enterprise Systems, MMIS, or other healthcare programs.
• Demonstrated experience managing client relationships, contractual obligations, deliverables, budgets, risks, issues, staffing, and performance metrics.
• Experience in a multi-vendor environment coordinating with government agencies, system integrators, and partners.
• Ability to travel to onsite meetings and client sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for a complex Medicaid enrollment and management program.
• Coordinate activities across operations, technology, project management, business analysis, testing, training and other functions.
• Monitor performance, manage risks and issues, drive continuous improvement, and align with client objectives.
• Lead readiness activities including implementation planning, go-live, stabilization, and transitions.
• Prepare and present status reports, financial updates, and executive briefings to leadership and clients.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, CMS requirements, and state/federal regulations.
