Job summary

Acentra Health is seeking a Program Director to join our NY Medicaid Provider Services Management team. You will provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for a complex provider enrollment and management program, ensuring delivery on schedule, within budget, and in line with contractual commitments.

The role acts as the primary liaison between the client and internal teams, coordinating across operations, technology, project management, and training to achieve high-quality services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, information technology, project management, or a related field preferred.
• 7+ years of experience managing complex healthcare, Medicaid, government, or technology programs.
• 10+ years' experience in managerial and leadership roles.
• Experience managing the full system development life cycle, including planning, requirements, design, configuration, testing, implementation, stabilization, and operations.
• Experience managing provider enrollment, provider management, Medicaid Enterprise Systems, MMIS, or other healthcare administration programs.
• Demonstrated experience managing client relationships, contractual obligations, deliverables, budgets, risks, issues, staffing, and performance metrics.
• Ability to travel to onsite meetings and client sites as needed.
• PMI certification (PMP) or master's degree preferred.

• Ensure successful program execution on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with contractual commitments and client expectations.
• Coordinate program activities across operations, technology, project management, business analysis, testing, training, and other functional areas.
• Monitor performance, manage risks and issues, support continuous improvement, and ensure alignment with standards and client objectives.
• Lead readiness activities including implementation planning, go-live preparation, stabilization, and transition planning.
