Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Senior Director to serve as the overall Account Leader, driving strategic program delivery, technical solution advancement, and client satisfaction for complex enrollment and premium processing programs.

The role partners with executives and technical teams to ensure successful implementation, operation, and continuous improvement, with occasional travel to client meetings and business activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• 12–15 years of professional experience in a related field are required.
• Experience leading government services programs within the Health and Human Services sector.
• Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams in a client-facing environment.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing business needs.
• Ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on operational oversight and day-to-day program management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the program's financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and analyzing profit and loss statements to ensure profitability.
• Ensure program operations comply with contract requirements and regulations.
• Lead large-scale, cross-functional programs from strategy through implementation and stabilization.
• Establish governance processes to support accountability and timely decision-making.
• Develop operational performance metrics and continuous improvement plans.
• Partner with operations leaders to improve productivity and workforce effectiveness.
