Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems in Melbourne, FL is seeking a Program Control Director 1 to lead a large cost and schedule management team onsite. The role reports to the Program Control Director 2 and supports all program business management requirements for the Strike Division.

You will set the vision, manage staffing, develop leaders, and ensure compliance with NG procedures. A strong background in EVM, scheduling, EAC, and budgeting is essential, along with the ability to collaborate

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 10 years of experience in business administration or Master’s with 8 years of experience.
• Experience leading large, multi-level teams, including managers of managers.
• Understanding of EVM, program planning and scheduling, CAS, indirect rates, forecasting and budgeting.
• Active US Government secret clearance and ability to obtain SAP within a reasonable time.
• Willingness to travel at least 25% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Lead a large, geographically dispersed team of Cost and Schedule Management professionals.
• Set the vision and priorities for the organization and drive execution.
• Manage staffing resources, develop leaders, and ensure compliance with NG procedures.
• Interact with senior leaders across NG and build strong business acumen.
• Anticipate issues, analyze complex problems, and implement actionable solutions.
