Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Program Control Director 1 in Melbourne, Florida. This leadership role guides a large, dispersed team of cost and schedule management professionals, reporting to the Sector Program Control Director 2 and supporting Strike Division programs.

The candidate must master EVM, scheduling, budgeting, CAS, and cost forecasting, with strong business acumen and executive communication. Travel is required, and relocation may be available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 10 years of experience in business administration or Master’s degree with 8 years of experience in business administration
• Experience leading large, multi-level teams, including managers of managers
• Understanding of Earned Value Management (EVM), program planning and scheduling, program control, estimates at completion (EAC), CAS, indirect rates, forecasting, budgeting

Responsibilities

• Lead a large, geographically dispersed Cost & Schedule Management team
• Set vision and priorities for the organization
• Manage staffing resources and develop leaders
• Establish business strategies and prioritize requirements
• Ensure compliance with NG procedures and systems
• Interact with Senior Leaders across NG and communicate effectively
