Job summary

Bilstein Cold Rolled Steel Lp. in Bowling Green, KY is seeking a Production Scheduler to align material flow with the production plan. You will collaborate with planning, operations, purchasing and sales to optimize schedules and minimize costs while meeting customer demands.

This role requires a manufacturing background, knowledge of steel processing, and proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP; strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technical discipline required, AS acceptable with experience.
• Manufacturing environment experience, preferably in steel/metal production.
• Knowledge of cold rolled steel processes, material flows, quality and cost control.
• Strong engineering/technical application and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities; proficient in ERP tools.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Planning Team Leader to support production planning and scheduling.
• Track material availability and ensure production orders align with the plan.
• Manage production cards, material flow and scheduling accuracy across units.
• Coordinate with Inside Sales, Purchasing and Operations to meet customer demands.
• Create production orders and maintain schedule integrity; report issues timely.
