Job summary

Commercial Metals Company is seeking a production planning professional to optimize short- and long-term demand for steel products and develop detailed production schedules across northeast U.S. steel mills.

The role partners with Demand Planning and S&OP processes, analyzes capacity and inventory, and recommends corrective actions to align supply plans with business goals. A Bachelor’s degree and strong communication are required.

• Experience in a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lead through influence and trusted collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Review demand and create production plans to meet that demand.
• Coordinate with Demand Planning and S&OP processes.
• Prepare supply planning inputs, capacity analysis, and inventory projections for S&OP reviews.
• Identify risks and opportunities impacting supply, inventory, service, or cost.
