Job summary

Sunlight Batteries USA in Mebane, NC is seeking a Production Scheduler to optimize daily and weekly schedules across manufacturing operations. You will work with Site Planners, coordinate with Materials, Production and Customer Service to align priorities with demand and capacity.

In this role you will analyze SAP-based data, monitor schedule performance, and generate reporting to improve on-time delivery and throughput. A 4-year degree and strong Excel skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent relevant experience considered.
• 1–2 years manufacturing, production, scheduling, materials, supply chain, operations experience preferred.
• Exposure to SAP, MRP, ERP, or similar systems preferred.
• Strong Excel skills and comfort with operational data and reports.
• Power BI or similar data-visualization experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Create and adjust daily/weekly production schedules based on demand, material availability, capacity, and priorities.
• Support Site Planners by communicating changes and priorities to Production and other stakeholders.
• Monitor schedule attainment and identify risks that could affect output or commitments.
• Coordinate scheduling adjustments due to shortages, constraints, or changing priorities.
• Support release and sequencing of production orders to maximize efficiency and throughput.
• Escalate scheduling conflicts and execution risks to Planning and Operations partners.
• Develop and maintain scheduling, backlog, capacity, and delivery-performance reports.
