Job summary

Westlake Chemical is seeking a Production Coordinator to align internal customers across departments and coordinate the production workflow to meet deadlines.

You will collaborate with Manufacturing, Customer Service, Warehouse and Shipping to execute schedules, manage inventory and ensure on-time deliveries in a fast-paced environment.

Strong analytical and communication skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with MS Office are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or related field.
• 5 years of supply chain or other relevant experience.
• Proficient MS Excel, Access, Word and Outlook.
• APICS certification preferred.
• Experience with SAP/JDE preferred.
• Able to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate production workflow to meet deadlines across regions.
• Execute the four-week production schedule and adjust as needed.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Customer Service, Warehouse and Shipping.
• Plan and prioritize operations to maximize performance and minimize delay.
• Work with plant managers and purchasing to arrange manpower, equipment and raw materials.
• Establish and communicate weekly frozen schedules with Operations.
• Maintain monthly inventory targets and safety stocks.
