Job summary

Westlake Royal Building Products is seeking a Production Planning Supervisor to lead scheduling and inventory activities across Columbus and Franklin facilities. You will ensure product availability, accuracy, and service levels while directing a team of planners.

The role requires a strong background in production planning, inventory control, and process improvement with proficiency in JD Edwards and Excel, and collaboration across functions such as Operations and Quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years of experience in production scheduling, inventory management, or manufacturing operations.
• Strong inventory control and manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead production scheduling activities to balance customer demand, inventory requirements, and manufacturing capacity.
• Oversee inventory control processes, including cycle counts, physical inventories, reconciliations, and inventory accuracy initiatives.
• Manage finished goods, raw materials, consignment, obsolete, and excess inventory to optimize working capital and service levels.
• Maintain product master data, Bills of Material (BOMs), routings, and item setup within JD Edwards
• Support new product introductions, engineering changes, and product revisions
• Develop and monitor KPIs related to inventory accuracy, schedule attainment, inventory turns, and customer service
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and system effectiveness
• Lead, coach, and develop scheduling and inventory control personnel
• Partner with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Logistics, Customer Service, Accounting, and Supply Chain teams to achieve business objectives
