Job summary

Parker Hannifin, a Fortune 250 company, is seeking a detail-oriented production planning professional to manage master production schedules and material requirements to meet customer demand. You will coordinate with Quality, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Engineering and Shipping to ensure smooth flow of materials and timely delivery.

Responsibilities include expediting orders, maintaining accurate BOMs, and leading continuous improvement initiatives, including Kaizen events.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Operations or related field required.
2-4 years of experience required.
APICS certificate is preferred.
Must be a US Citizen or have US Permanent Resident Status.

Responsibilities

Meets customer requirements by scheduling and expediting orders and/or stock transfers.
Acts as a primary customer contact for production status, schedule changes, shipping information and returned material.
Identifies material requirements from specifications and schedules; ensures accurate master file and bill of material.
Advises team on status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems.
Evaluates and implements changes to the planning process, including inventory strategies and lead-time analysis.
Lead Kaizen events as necessary.
Coordinate cross-functional activities with QA, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Engineering, Inventory Control, Shipping/Receiving, and Contract Administration.
