Job summary

D.W. Distribution, an SBP brand, is seeking a Production Scheduler in Lancaster, TX to coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within and between departments according to the production schedule.

Responsibilities include monitoring orders, inventory, and equipment, creating production orders, and ensuring on-time delivery while collaborating with other SBP locations. Strong organization and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in production scheduling or purchasing.
• Experience in building supply/millwork industry preferred.
• Proficiency with computer systems and standard business software.

Responsibilities

• Monitor production schedules based on orders, inventory, and equipment.
• Create production orders and track progress against deadlines.
• Coordinate with departments to ensure on-time material availability.
• Review and close completed production orders and shipments.
• Maintain data entry and reporting for orders, deliveries, and POs.
• Collaborate across SBP locations to balance demand.
