Job summary

Victaulic is seeking a Production Scheduler Planner for its Tioga, PA facility in Lawrenceville. The role focuses on directing manufacturing activities to ensure product availability and customer service, managing MRP and Kanban, and driving lead-time reduction opportunities.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree (preferred) and experience in materials management in manufacturing, with proficiency in MS Office and Lean manufacturing knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience in Materials Management in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Competency in Microsoft Office applications required.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing concepts (kanban, pull) preferred.
• Good organizational, analytical problem solving, and communication skills required.
• Ability to interact with a wide variety of people.
• Must be responsible and self-motivated.
• Willing to work extra hours as project or production needs dictate.

Responsibilities

• Understand and abide by all safety rules and policies; maintain safe, sanitary working conditions.
• Manage MRP and Kanban requirements and distribute/maintain manufacturing orders.
• Handle inquiries or expedited delivery for assigned products.
• Monitor component and finished goods inventory and lead-time reduction opportunities.
• Review planning data and kanban levels; maintain system planning data.
• Assist with process improvement activities and documentation; train staff as needed.
