Job summary

ITT Engineered Valves is seeking a Planner in Lancaster, PA to work with Production Supervision, plan the production of configured items and components, and align the production plan with customer demand.

The role emphasizes releases of shop orders, capacity balancing, data accuracy, and coordination with shop floor. Candidates should have a high school diploma, 1+ years in manufacturing planning, and strong proficiency in MRP/ERP systems, especially SAP, and MS Office.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required; bachelor’s preferred.
1+ years planning experience in manufacturing preferred.
CPIM/CPM certification desirable.
Strong self-starter with excellent communication skills.
Proficient in MRP/ERP systems (SAP preferred) and MS Office.
Able to write routine reports and present to groups.
Highly organized; able to handle multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

Release shop orders for configured items within lead times.
Monitor capacity and balance demand with capacity; use routings/expedites as needed.
Maintain planning data accuracy and suggest changes.
Expedite/de-expedite material as required.
Coordinate part number changes with shop floor personnel.
Maintain data on released shop orders.
Quote/delivery dates to Customer Service.
Reschedule orders and inform next planner or Customer Service.
Assist Inventory & Warehouse Management.
Monitor on-time performance and recommend improvements.
Other duties as assigned.
