Job summary

The Dixon Group is seeking a detail‑oriented Production Scheduler to join our Winchester facility. You will balance customer demand, production capacity, and material availability to ensure on‑time delivery and efficient operations.

You’ll coordinate shop floor scheduling, maintain Bills of Materials and routers in our DDS system, and collaborate with Engineering, Planning, and Customer Service to develop accurate part costs and schedules. Strong Excel and ERP skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required with manufacturing experience.
• Experience in production scheduling, purchasing, or inventory control.
• Strong analytical, mathematical, and collaborative skills with cross-functional teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Schedule shop floor operations across departments to ensure efficiency.
• Maintain Bills of Materials, routers, and cost data in DDS system.
• Respond to client inquiries and process new orders with planning team.
• Cost new parts for quotes in collaboration with Engineering, Planning, and Sales.
• Develop and adjust production schedules based on orders and priorities.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing, Purchasing, Supply Chain, and Sales to align schedules with capacity and demand.
• Monitor production progress and resolve scheduling conflicts.
• Prepare production documentation and schedules.
• Analyze material availability and inventory levels to ensure uninterrupted production.
• Prepare purchase orders to domestic and international vendors.
• Maintain vendor pricing and support supply chain accuracy.
• Utilize scheduling and ERP systems to track timelines and performance metrics.
• Prepare production and scheduling reports for management review.
• Provide back-up support to front desk operations as needed.
