Job summary

The Dixon Group is seeking a Production Scheduler/Expeditor at our Houston facility to balance customer orders, production capacity, and material availability, ensuring on-time delivery and efficiency. • Experience in production scheduling or manufacturing operations.
• Proficiency with scheduling software and ERP systems.
• Strong Excel skills required.
• Excellent analytical and organizational abilities.
• Detail-oriented with ability to prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and adjust production schedules based on orders and forecasts.
• Coordinate across Manufacturing, Purchasing, Supply Chain, and Sales to align capacity and demand.
• Monitor progress and resolve scheduling conflicts.
• Create and maintain factory orders, routings, and production docs.
• Analyze material availability and inventory levels.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders to vendors; track acknowledgments.
• Generate scheduling reports for management review.
• Support front desk as needed.
