Wells is seeking a Production Scheduler to develop and maintain production schedules for a precast manufacturing facility. You will coordinate with multiple departments to align production, engineering, and supply needs while adapting schedules to changing priorities.

The role emphasizes strong planning, attention to detail, and the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment. This position is based in a manufacturing setting with a focus on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in business, construction management, or engineering technology preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong planning, scheduling, and resource allocation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage production schedules based on order demand, forecasts, and inventory needs.
• Prepare and distribute weekly schedules to production teams, outlining priorities and quantities.
• Lead scheduling meetings to review and finalize plans with plant leadership and engineering.
• Monitor production systems to ensure engineering deliverables stay ahead of manufacturing timelines.
• Analyze production outputs and adjust schedules to improve efficiency and meet service goals.
• Submit and track hardware requisitions while maintaining accurate records.
• Address scheduling conflicts or production delays and communicate solutions to impacted teams.
• Maintain organized project files by job and timeline for tracking purposes.
• Support additional scheduling and coordination tasks as assigned by leadership.
