Job Overview

General Description
Planning, coordinating, and developing schedules for a large-scale precast concrete manufacturing facility that produces one million units of architectural precast annually.

Responsibilities
  • Create and manage production schedules based on demand, forecasts, and inventory to meet customer service goals.
  • Communicate weekly schedules to manufacturing leads/supervisors, detailing product specifics and priorities.
  • Lead weekly scheduling meetings for approval by Plant Manager and engineering.
  • Monitor production schedules to ensure engineering is ahead of production by at least two weeks.
  • Review and adjust plans based on actual production and capacity utilization.
  • Submit hardware requisitions and maintain records for future reference.
  • Resolve manufacturing delays promptly, communicating with affected departments and implementing action plans.
  • Maintain project files by date and job name.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Plant Manager.
Requirements
  • Ability to plan and allocate resources effectively.
  • Knowledge of efficient production and manufacturing methods.
  • Strong facilitation and leadership skills for meetings and team management.
  • Analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Ability to interpret technical plans and drawings.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, SharePoint, and Bluebeam.
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; a two-year degree in business, construction management, or engineering technology preferred.
Physical & Working Conditions
  • Frequent walking/standing (4+ hours/day)
  • Office/desk work in a loud environment with exposure to fumes, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration.
