Job summary

SPX Technologies Radiodetection is seeking a Production Scheduler to plan and prepare manufacturing production schedules and departmental workflows to meet shipping dates based on forecasts and customer orders. You will advise on material availability, inventory levels, and potential disruptions to ensure on-time delivery at optimal cost.

The role requires coordinating across departments to plan stock and forecast requirements, and serving as primary back-up for plant manager responsibilities

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Planning or purchasing experience required.
• Warehouse/inventory management experience required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate workflow to meet customer shipping dates with plant manager.
• Reserves and prints packing slips for shipping department.
• Provide weekly backlog and monthly/quarter-end forecast updates.
• Coordinate inventory levels with purchasing for standard stock items.
• Support capacity planning and stock ordering to meet customer demand.
• Communicate with sales/customer service to inform customers.
• Assist with new product launches and inventory parts setup.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and resolve discrepancies.
• Identify root causes of inventory issues and seek improvements.
• Ensure a safe work environment and follow shop procedures.
