Job summary

SPX Cooling Technologies is seeking a detailed-oriented Materials Planner to support material sourcing, scheduling, and line operations for HVAC manufacturing. You will partner with Purchasing, Production, and JIT to ensure timely availability of parts and accurate production data.

Responsibilities include maintaining SAP-based schedules, coordinating with teams, and ensuring on-time build completion while maintaining inventory accuracy. Associates degree with production experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or technical program completion required.
• Previous experience working in a production environment required.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Computer proficiency is expected.

Responsibilities

• Material Planning & Inventory Control: lead sourcing decisions, run shortage reports, audit availability, communicate shortages, correct inventory errors in SAP.
• Production Planning & Scheduling: review and validate SAP production data and schedules, analyze transactions to improve efficiency, coordinate with team on run orders.
• Manufacturing & Line Support: coordinate with stores, verify carts, audit JIT parts, manage line down items and expedites with the JIT department.
• Rework & Project Support: maintain rework lists, coordinate tower rework, support assembly lines with tools and parts orders.
