Job summary

SPX Technologies, Inc. is seeking a production planning professional in West Virginia to manage manufacturing schedules, optimize workflows, and coordinate with purchasing and sales to meet shipping commitments.

The role supports Radiodetection products, ensuring on-time delivery and efficient resource use. The ideal candidate will have planning or purchasing experience, warehouse/inventory management skills, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent GED.
• Planning or purchasing experience.
• Warehouse/inventory management experience.
• Leadership experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate workflow to meet customer shipping dates with plant manager.
• Complete delivery date input during sale order reviews.
• Reserve and print packing slips to shipping department.
• Provide weekly backlog and monthly/quarter-end forecast updates.
• Coordinate with purchasing to maintain inventory levels of standard stock items.
• Align with sales to capacity plan and stock orders to meet demand.
• Communicate with sales/customer service to keep customers informed.
• Support new product launches and inventory parts setup.
• Interface with purchasing for material receiving and resolving discrepancies.
• Maintain accuracy of inventory and quality of service.
• Identify root causes of stock discrepancies and drive continuous improvements.
• Coordinate across departments to implement solutions.
• Run cycle count activities and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain a safe work environment with clear procedures.
• Provide back-up coverage for plant manager duties as needed.
