Job summary

Northrop Grumman Commerce, CA seeks a Manager, Production Planning & Scheduling Level 1 to lead production planning, inventory control and master scheduling for the Commerce facility. You’ll drive cross-functional collaboration, manage manufacturing work orders, and optimize shop floor execution to meet program deadlines.

You will mentor teams, enforce safety and quality standards, and partner with leadership to implement process improvements while maintaining compliance with government

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Supply Chain, Engineering or related field.
• Demonstrated leadership and strong communication skills.
• Experience in production planning, inventory control and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Lead Production Planning, Inventory Control and Master Scheduling functions.
• Manage manufacturing work instructions, orders and shop floor hand-offs.
• Balance priorities across product lines to meet program schedules and deliveries.
• Improve daily management processes and track performance metrics.
