Job summary

Davlyn Group in Spring City, PA is seeking a Production Planner to develop and execute detailed production schedules for Norfab and Spring City. You will balance demand with capacity and lead continuous improvement efforts on the shop floor.

The role requires strong ERP experience, Excel proficiency and cross-functional collaboration with sales, purchasing and logistics to ensure on-time delivery. It is on-site at Spring City.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, operation management, engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of production planning experience in manufacturing (textiles, preferred).
• Deep understanding of textile manufacturing processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed production schedules for Davlyn Group Industrial (Norfab & Spring City).
• Balance demand forecasts with plant capacity, labor and machine constraints.
• Optimize sequencing to reduce changeovers, waste and downtime.
• Collaborate with purchasing to ensure timely availability of yarns, chemicals and other raw materials.
• Monitor production progress and adjust schedules in real time to address disruptions (machine downtime, labor shortages, material delays).
• Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and recommend process improvements.
• Lead Sales & Inventory Operations Planning (“SIOP”) and production planning meetings.
• Maintain ERP systems accuracy for orders, inventory and work-in-progress (“WIP”).
• Coordinate with maintenance and engineering teams for planned downtime and equipment constraints.
• Ensure alignment with customer priorities and service level agreements.
• Collaborate with the Juarez, Mexico location on supply and demand concerns for both finished goods and yarns produced in Juarez
