Job summary

SPRINGS Creative is seeking a Production Planner to develop and manage production schedules and coordinate with manufacturing, purchasing, and warehouse teams. You will ensure raw materials are available, issues purchase orders for materials, and maintain ERP/MRP data to support on-time delivery and quality standards.

The role requires 2–5 years in production planning, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s/associate degree in a related field is preferred.
  • 2–5 years of production planning or scheduling experience.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and inventory control.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems and Excel.
  • Strong analytical and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on demand and capacity.
  • Coordinate with manufacturing, purchasing, and warehouse teams to ensure material availability.
  • Track WIP and adjust schedules to address delays or shortages.
  • Monitor production progress and communicate timelines to internal teams and customers.
  • Maintain production data in ERP/MRP systems and prepare reports.
  • Collaborate with QA to meet specifications and standards.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and reduce waste.
  • Support inventory management by balancing production with stock levels.

Job description

The Production Planner is responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating manufacturing operations to ensure customer orders are completed on time, printers’ full utilization within budget within budget, and to quality standards. This role works closely with production, purchasing, customers, and sales teams to optimize workflow, maximize efficiency, and maintain production schedules.

Responsibilities/Duties:
  • Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on customer demand and production capacity.
  • Coordinate with manufacturing, purchasing, and warehouse teams to ensure raw materials are available for production.
  • Raw material planning and issuing purchase orders
  • Set up BOM and product codes
  • Work order and ERP troubleshooting
  • Monitor production progress and adjust schedules to address delays, equipment downtime, or material shortages.
  • Analyze production capacity, labor availability, and machine utilization to improve efficiency.
  • Track work-in-progress (WIP) and ensure orders are completed on schedule.
  • Communicate production status and delivery timelines to internal departments and customers as needed.
  • Maintain accurate production planning data in ERP/MRP systems and prepare production reports.
  • Collaborate with quality assurance to ensure products meet customer specifications and company standards.
  • Identify opportunities to improve production processes, reduce waste, and increase productivity.
  • Support inventory management by balancing production requirements with stock levels.
Minimum Qualifications Required:
  • Associate's or bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Operations Management, Business, or a related field (preferred).
  • 2–5 years of production planning or scheduling experience, preferably in textile or manufacturing environments.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, inventory control, and production scheduling.
  • Experience using ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and time management abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment and manage multiple priorities.
