Job summary

Prince Industries LLC, Brattleboro, VT, is seeking a Production Planner / Buyer to plan, schedule, and coordinate manufacturing activities for on-time delivery and optimized inventory. You will maintain production schedules, manage materials, procure materials, and drive communication across Customer Service, Engineering, Production, Purchasing, and Shipping.

The role requires 3–5 years in planning and purchasing in manufacturing, plus ERP/MRP proficiency and Epicor ERP experience.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in supply chain or related field preferred.
• 3–5 years in production planning, scheduling, purchasing or materials management in manufacturing.
• ERP/MRP experience required; Epicor ERP strongly preferred.
• Experience with high-mix, low-to-medium volume manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute production schedules across departments.
• Analyze demand, capacity, lead times, and material availability.
• Monitor production performance and adjust schedules to meet commitments.
• Coordinate with supervisors for efficient workflow and resources.
• Procure materials, create POs, and manage supplier performance.
• Review orders and communicate delivery dates and constraints.
• Maintain ERP/MRP data, BOMs, lead times, and routing.
• Generate weekly reports and drive process improvements.
