Job summary

Gabriele & Company is seeking a Production Planner in Burlington, MA to develop and maintain production schedules that align with customer commitments and manufacturing efficiency. You will collaborate with manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, customer service, and quality to optimize materials, labor, and equipment against production goals.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in a related field and 3+ years in production planning, with strong ERP/MRP, Excel, and lean principles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, Industrial Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of production planning or production scheduling experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar).
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical, organizational, and communication abilities.
• Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing / continuous improvement principles.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on demand, inventory, and capacity.
• Analyze sales orders, forecasts, and material availability to create achievable production plans.
• Partner with Purchasing to ensure materials and components are available to support the schedule.
• Monitor work orders and adjust plans for shortages, downtime, engineering changes, or shifting priorities.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Supervisors to balance workloads and resource utilization.
• Maintain accurate planning data in the ERP/MRP system and communicate schedule changes cross-functionally.
• Participate in S&OP meetings and support continuous improvement and lean initiatives.
