Job summary

AGC Heat Transfer, Inc. in Fairview, Oregon (on-site) is seeking a Production Planner to coordinate production schedules and material planning to support on-time delivery.

You'll partner with Procurement, Engineering, Logistics, Manufacturing, and Sales to align schedules with capacity and supplier lead times, while using Macola ERP to maintain accurate planning data and track work orders. Strong collaboration and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field (or equivalent).
• 3+ years of production planning, scheduling, inventory management, or related manufacturing experience.
• Experience working with ERP/MRP systems and MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and adjust production schedules based on customer demand, capacity constraints, and material availability.
• Utilize Macola ERP software to generate, manage, and track work orders while maintaining accurate planning and inventory data.
• Identify material shortages and coordinate work orders to ensure uninterrupted production flow.
• Monitor work order progress and proactively address scheduling conflicts, delays, and bottlenecks.
• Partner with Procurement, Logistics, and Manufacturing teams to align production schedules with supplier lead times and inventory availability.
• Participate in daily production meetings and provide updates on priorities, shortages, and schedule performance.
• Analyze MRP data to identify production requirements and opportunities for improved efficiency.
• Collaborate with Sales on delivery commitments, lead times, and customer order status.
• Work closely with Engineering and Quality teams to resolve technical and production challenges.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on process optimization, waste reduction, and productivity enhancements.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and material shortages.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
