Job summary

Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Production Planner to join the Power & Thermal Management division in Reno, NV. You will develop and manage production schedules, coordinate with manufacturing and purchasing teams, and help ensure customer orders are fulfilled efficiently and on time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of supply chain experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with DDMRP and ERP planning systems.

Responsibilities

• Create and release work orders based on MRP demand, customer orders, and forecast requirements.
• Provide accurate ship date information and scheduling feedback to Sales and Customer Service teams.
• Develop work orders for production, SKU conversions, and rework activities.
• Monitor production order progress and adjust schedules as needed to support delivery commitments.
• Expedite critical orders across the supply chain.
• Partner with Production, Purchasing, Customer Service, Sales, Engineering, and Finance teams to ensure schedule alignment.
• Participate in daily production planning meetings and communicate priorities clearly.
• Maintain communication regarding customer demand, open opportunities, and production constraints.
• Support S&OP discussions through planning updates and insights.
