Job summary

Global Riser USA in New Iberia seeks a proactive Production Planner to convert project packages into efficient, resource-loaded schedules across manufacturing, refurbishment, inspection and testing.

You will coordinate with Operations, Site supervision and Engineering to align priorities, ensure on-time delivery, and uphold safety and quality standards.

The role requires strong Excel, ERP/MRP familiarity, and the ability to develop look-ahead plans and visual planning tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Diploma or degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain or related discipline preferred.
• Experience in heavy fabrication and oil and gas equipment is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Receive and review manufacturing packages and identify missing information before scheduling.
• Develop and maintain integrated production schedules for manufacturing, refurbishment, inspection, welding, machining, coating, assembly and testing.
• Coordinate manpower, skills, workstations, tooling, lifting equipment, materials and subcontracted services.
• Establish work sequences, durations, dependencies and milestones.
• Provide schedule updates to management and project teams.
• Maintain daily and weekly work plans and forecast resource capacity.
• Ensure safety, quality and on-time delivery.
