Job summary

NorthPoint Search Group seeks a Production Scheduler for an onsite role to develop and maintain detailed production schedules based on customer orders, forecasts, inventory targets, and capacity. You will coordinate with Sales, Production, Quality, Warehouse, Procurement and Transportation to ensure material availability and on-time execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
• 3–6 years in production scheduling or planning in manufacturing.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and scheduling tools.
• Strong background in inventory management and operations.
• Excellent Excel skills and ERP software familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Develop, publish, and maintain production schedules from orders, forecasts, and capacity.
• Sequence runs to optimize efficiency while meeting allergen control, sanitation, and safety.
• Adjust schedules in real time for downtime, staffing, shortages, or transport issues.
• Coordinate with Sales, Production, Quality, Warehouse, Procurement, and Transportation.
• Communicate schedule changes and priorities between operations and planning.
• Align schedules with preventive maintenance and labor availability.
• Monitor inventory levels to support schedules and customer service.
• Identify slow-moving or obsolete inventory and propose disposition.
• Prepare reports and dashboards on schedule adherence and capacity.
• Support process improvements to increase scheduling efficiency and service levels.
• Contribute to special projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
