Job summary

Northrop Grumman’s Defense Systems sector seeks a Production Planner/Scheduler to manage scheduled production and material flow at the Rocket Center, WV site. You will coordinate with QA, manufacturing, purchasing, and engineering to ensure timely delivery and resolve production issues.

Requirements include 4–6 years of relevant experience or a related degree, MS Office proficiency, and the ability to obtain/maintain a security clearance. Prior Costpoint/Cognos/Solumina experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• MS Office Applications proficiency.
• Ability to maintain a security clearance if required.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Plans, prepares, issues and controls production schedules to meet production requirements.
• Advises management on status of work in progress and material availability.
• Schedules equipment and personnel, issues work orders and purchase requests.
• Coordinates interdepartmental activity with QA, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, inventory control, traffic.
• Collaborates with cross-functional areas.
