Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Production Planner/Scheduler for its Defense Systems sector in Rocket Center, WV. The role involves planning and controlling production schedules, coordinating with material requirements, and ensuring timely delivery of components for secured programs.

The position requires strong MS Office skills, the ability to work independently, and the capacity to obtain a security clearance if needed. Experience with Costpoint, Cognos, Solumina, and MS Project is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field is required or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 6 years of relevant work experience for level 2; 4 years for level 1.
• Experience with MS Office applications and ability to obtain/maintain a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Plans, prepares, issues and controls production schedules to meet requirements.
• Advises management on status of work in progress and material availability.
• Schedules equipment and personnel with master production schedule and shop load.
• Coordinates interdepartmental activity and expedites movement of parts by orders and transfers.
• Collaborates with cross functional areas to ensure smooth operations.
