Job summary

TDK-Lambda Americas Inc. in New Jersey is seeking a Production Planning support specialist to help manage schedules and orders for key product lines.

You will prepare orders with required documents and labels, evaluate material availability, and coordinate with engineering and purchasing to keep production flowing.

Candidates should be proficient in Excel, familiar with ERP/LN, and have up to one year of related experience and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• Must be proficient in Excel, formulas and macros.
• Knowledge of ERP/LN software is helpful.
• Up to one year of related experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and operating procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain schedules for standard and Key customers for specific product lines.
• Provide production with orders including all the required documents and labels.
• Cancelling or trouble shooting orders that need additional attention.
• Evaluate material availability for Sales Order Quotes.
• Create and/or plan material requirements for outside vendor/sister company.
• Evaluate finished goods inventory for un-moving material and convert and apply to open orders.
• Run daily shortages report for specific product line including incoming material shipments.
