Job summary

TDK-Lambda Americas Inc. in New Jersey is seeking a Production Planning Administrator to support all production planning processes. You will maintain schedules for standard and key customers, provide orders with documents and labels, and help ensure material availability.

Ideal candidates have strong Excel skills (formulas/macros), familiarity with ERP systems, and a high school diploma. The role is on-site with a competitive hourly wage and potential bonuses and comprehensive benefits.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB

ESSENTIAL DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES & AUTHORITIES

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES & AUTHORITIES

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be proficient in excel, formulas and macros.

EXPERIENCE

• Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP/LN) software is helpful.
• Up to one year of related experience (or equivalent combination of education, training and experience).

EDUCATION

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions,, Engineering change orders, and procedure manuals.

COMPUTER SKILLS

• Intermediate skills: Ability to navigate and use internet/intranet and other programs such as the MS Office package including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access, or Company-wide cross functional Enterprise Resource Planning software. Must be able to perform trouble shooting.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

• Minimum Skills: Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s. Ability to perform these operations using units of weight, volume and distance measurements, as well as American currency.

REASONING ABILITY

• Minimum Skills: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one or two step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.

SALARY RANGE

The starting hourly rate for the role is between USD $26.00 and $29.00. The actual base is dependent upon many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. The role may also be eligible for variable bonus programs and benefits.
