Job summary

CANPACK Group in Indiana is seeking a Production Planner to organize production planning based on inventory analysis and scheduling to meet customer demand. You will develop and maintain the production schedule, raw material plan, and intercompany purchase requirements under the direction of the Production Planning Manager, ensuring on-time delivery.

The role requires strong analytical skills, SAP experience, and proficiency with MS Excel, with attention to detail and the ability to work both

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Supply Chain/Business Logistics or equivalent.
• Previous SAP experience a plus
• Strong analytical skills with data-driven decisions
• MS Office proficiency, including Excel
• Excellent written and oral communication; detail-oriented

Responsibilities

• Advise and support Production Manager to manage stock levels for seasonal demand.
• Schedule production lines to meet customer and forecasted demands.
• Plan machine schedules yearly, quarterly, monthly, and weekly.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and communicate production plans.
• Receive and review orders; ensure completion using internal procedures.
• Use SAP and computerized systems to manage capacity planning.
• Maintain relationships with cross-functional departments.
• Aim for high production schedule attainment.
• Perform other duties as required.
